Recognition of Hybrid PQ Disturbances Based on Multi-Resolution S-Transform and Decision Tree

Aiming at the problems of multiple types power quality composite disturbances, strong feature correlation and high recognition error rate, a method disturbances identification based on multi-resolution S-transform decision tree was proposed. Firstly, according to IEEE standard, signal models seven single 17 combined are given, disturbance waveform samples generated in batches. Then, order improve accuracy, adjustment factor is introduced obtain controllable time-frequency resolution through domain analysis. On this basis, five features extracted, which quantitatively reflect characteristics analyzed signal, less than traditional S-transform. Finally, three classifiers such as K-nearest neighbor, support vector machine algorithm used effectively complete disturbances. Simulation results show that classification accuracy higher neighbor machine. proposed compared with other commonly algorithms. Experimental effective terms detection especially for PQ interference.
